Eta Compute, Rohm team on IoT sensor nodes

Jun. 27, 2018 – Eta Compute Inc. (Westlake Village, Calif.) a company that uses self-timed, ultra-low voltage electronics for low power processing, is teaming up with broad-based component supplier Rohm Semiconductor to provide sensor nodes.
The Wireless Smart Ubiquitous Network (Wi-SUN) nodes will combine Rohm's sensor technology with low-power microcontrollers from Eta Compute for products for smart utility networks and the IoT.
The Wi-SUN Alliance has a four-tier membership structure and grew by 60 percent in the last year and has more than 180 members.
